The Xbox S/X, Playstation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 console launch has been delayed to early next year. We need some more time to cook on this, as it's been quite a hefty feat, especially as we VERY MUCH WILL be supporting Crossplay across everything.
For all our PC players, this does not change anything regarding us working on Content Update #3! We're still hard at work bringing you a new biome, new items, new cosmetics and a super neat little secret thing. Maybe even a mini update featuring more holes in between now and then.
But in regards to the console launch, we also have -
Hello modders! You folks sure are neat. And for those of you who aren't aware, take a gander at Super Battle Golf on the Thunderstore! Some amazing folks got things set up over there, and you've all been working on some really cool things!
However! And this is quite important! We're currently hard at work on Steam Workshop support for custom levels. Hurray! Yippi! Everyone has been asking for this!
But what this means it that the way level loading is currently being handled in the game will be seeing some major changes. If you are working on any mods related to this, your work will very likely be invalidated when these changes are released. So just something to keep in mind!
Ok now that we got all that out of the way it's time for -
As a note things are rather work in progress and subject to change
Victory Screens are coming soon! Folks have been wanting this, and we even made a neat little podium for it and everything to highlight the top three in Free-for-All and highlights for the winners of Team Mode!
"We need a full-body knight outfit to go with the helmet" Ok! Sure thing! We can play Super Battle Dark Souls, no problem! We got a bunch of new cosmetics we're currently working on. I'm very stoked for this one it's pretty rad.
Rail Gun was calling for a bit more flare! So in between working on some brand new items that are secret-secret for right now, the Rail Gun has some nice little overloading animation and VFX to it.
While we're also getting new assets and levels made for a brand new biome, we're getting to work on adding some new maps as well to previous biomes! Some of them have been diabolical. Thanks Kajsa /cry
Wow ok! So that's about all the update I can give for you folks now! We'll see you very soon for some cool secret things we're cookin' up okhavefunbyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
